お母さんのネックレスとJIM-NETが繋いだ命
日本の皆さんこんにちは！ローカルスタッフ アーデルです。
どうしても今日は皆さんにお伝えしたい事があり、
アリ君という小児がんの子について書きたいと思います。
僕がアリ君に初めて会ったのは２年前。
JIM-NETで働き始めて数日後に出会った初めてのがん患者でした。
その当時アリ君は１２歳。毎回会うたびに僕に微笑んでくれました。
2015年のイラクの情勢が悪く、障害者であるアリくんのお父さんは、ドイツへ移住することを決め、先に出国。ドイツに家族を呼び寄せようと何度も試みていますが、現在まで許可が降りず家族離れ離れで生活しています。そんな最悪の状況の中で発症したがんでした。
アリ君のお母さんは3人の我が子を一人で育てながら、小児がんを発症した息子を助けるため、結婚した日に夫からプレゼントしてもらった金のネックレスを売って手術費用に当てました。
でも今回まさかの２度目の手術・・・・もう売るものがありません。
手術をしなければ足を切断しなければならない、と医師から告げられたお母さんは藁をもすがる思いで友人を通じてJIM-NETスタッフに連絡しました。
その状況を聞いたJIM-NETがアリ君の手術の支援を行う事を決め、無事に手術の運びとなりました。
手術は無事成功しました！僕は手術当日病院へ向かい、翌日までアリ君のお母さんと共にアリ君の側でずっと付き添いました。
今なおクルディスタンの国立病院への医薬品供給は停滞傾向にあります。
アリ君のように経済的に貧しい家庭では治療を継続する事すら困難な状況ですが、小児がんに特化した支援団体は少なく、JIM-NETはその中で常に現場や個人に寄り添って支援を継続しています。これからも一人でも多くの子供たちのサポートが行えるよう、JIIM-NETの活動に皆さんのご協力をどうぞお願い致します。

Hello everyone. My name is Adil who works as a local staff of JIM-NET. Today I would like to tell you a story about Ali who had a cancer.
First time when I saw him it was before 2 years ago and he was the first patient I am seeing having a cancer because at that time it been just a few days for me working with JIM-NET,at that time Ali was only 12 years with a little smile on his face all the time when I see him ,
In 2015, the situation of Iraq was too bad , and due to this situation his father, has disability went to Germany, but he still cannot get recommendation to take his family to Germany. His son Ali got sick just a few months after he left the country. Ali’s mother was taking care of 3 children, and she sold her gold necklace that given by her husband in the day of her marriage to pay for the first Ali’s operation.
The doctors told Ali that he should make another operation or otherwise his leg should be cut off, and this time nothing to sell to offer the fee of the operation.
JIM-NET staffs heard the news, and JIM-NET decided to support Ali’s operation. I stayed by Ali side even during the operation and I stayed with him the first night after he made operation.
